ISO/TS 22163 (IRIS)
ISO/TS 22163 (formerly IRIS) is based on the internationally-endorsed management standard for quality, the ISO 9001, supplemented with requirements specific to the railway industry. Just as manufacturers can, organisations that focus on development or maintenance within this sector can now attain IRIS certification. They can then be registered in the UNIFE database that is used for all key rail carriage product purchases (www.iris-rail.org).

EN/AS 9100, 9110, 9120
This standard was devised for aerospace suppliers that compete within a premium goods and services market, and for organisations looking to strategically improve their quality management system. These suppliers could be manufacturers (AS 9100), maintenance organisations (AS 9110) or retailers (AS 9120).

IATF 16949*
With a global remit of activities, the automotive sector embodies superlative process quality, constant improvement and the power of innovation. ISO/TS 16949 is the technical specification for quality management systems that apply to suppliers within the automotive sector.

ISO 13485
This quality system was especially devised for producers of medical devices and their components. An ISO 13485 certificate is the first step in attaining CE certified marking.
